Duke is 50 Weeks Old!

We almost made it to one year!!  Just two days left till the big day where Duke turns One!  This last week we were getting ready for Duke's Birthday but sadly it didn't happen.  Duke got sick during the week, mom got sick Saturday (day of Bday) and now dad is not feeling good :(  We were all so excited for this day and the decorations were out, cake made, presents rapped and food made but it is at a halt until maybe tomorrow......We are hoping the cake smash will take place tomorrow with just a special little celebration with mom, dad, Jet and Duke.  Grandma and Grandpa Schmitt did make it on Saturday for a couple hours to still make it a special day where Duke got to open two special gifts.  Duke also got his first haircut this weekend!!  He was a little confused on what was going on but did great!  Didn't fuss or cry but just looked around.

All and all it is another week where we are blessed to have a healthy little boy and enjoy all the laughs he brings us every day!  Enjoy our photos from this week.

Duke is 48 Weeks Old! Lets mesh 49 Weeks also into this!

Gosh where has time gone?  Duke has been a busy man the last couple weeks, so a lot to catch up on.  We have lots of fun photos from this last week where Aunt Chelse and Cousin Sage visited MN!  But the prior week Duke was enjoying some time at Grandma and Grandpa Schmitt's house while mom and dad enjoy the sun in Mexico!  It was the first time the Weldon family was separated for a whole 6 days!  But lets go way back to the week before they left......Duke ended up having his 12 month check where he is weighing in 20lbs 11 ounces and grew to 29 1/2" tall but the last two weeks he has been an eating machine so we think the numbers may have moved by now.  Did Duke mention he is now running!  Duke is on the move and there is no stopping him these days.  There are many falls, collisions, trips, etc that goes on but Duke takes it like a champ and right back up and back to moving.  For words he has said thanks, duck is still a favorite, bye, Grandpa Schmitt claims he did say a form of grandpa, Jet non-stop, dad, mom, down, done, and mom has hear more.  As we are reading more and more books words are slipping out so we will see what comes out next.  Take a look at this long list of photos to get us caught up because before you blink too much Duke with be ONE!!

Having fun the night we all had to say good bye for a few days.

His kissing face.

They meet again!

Duke loved looking out the big window at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  He would wave to the cars as they drove by.
