What has Duke been up to now that he is 13 Months Old!?!?!?!?

Wow has it been a crazy couple weeks with lots of fun!  Duke is really starting to get his own personality more and more.  He loves to laugh at himself, clap, jump, dance, talk endlessly, and chase Jet all over the house.  He loves to dunk his basketball, try to figure how things fit in other things - cups into bowls, balls into the muffin pan, and put anything into his bus.  His favorite two toys today are his airplane and helicopter, and yes books yet!
Take a look at memories from the last couple weeks.
Always multi-tasking with multiple things in his hands, and mouth.

Just resting....another new thing is he likes to take a quick 5 sec. nap in the midst of playing.

Someone has a hammer in his diaper.

Starting early on beer.....just kidding but he would not let that bottle go.

Both boys watching dad blow the snow.

Mom out with Duke's Aunts.

Checking out his newborn shots.

Slam Dunk!

Climbing his new picnic table.

Helping dad make his lunch.  MMMMM, Mac and Cheese.

Mom and Duke enjoying snack at the table together.

Grandma enjoying story time.

Excited to see Grandpa.

Checking out how much he grew.

Hiding yet again.

Yes he has a big bruise on his head.

So strong!

Mom about to head to work and Duke off to daycare.

I have to get every bite, can't let it go to waste.

Mom's favorite, love this squat.

Having fun playing hoops.

Dad doing snack time with Duke.

Pictures from Mom's date night with Duke.  The Maple Grove indoor playground, Kohls, and out to eat at Perkins.  Duke and mom had soooo much fun together.

Peaking through the window in his fort, loves that game.

We find him everywhere with a book.

So excited about bath time.

So tired after the night with mom.

Always sneaking around, checking out what is going outside.

Loves attempting to put his head in cups, and blow - makes him giggle.

Mom tired Duke around in her wedding dress!

Showing Duke Mom's wedding dress.  Mom even got to chase Duke around the kitchen in it.

Eating, Playing, Talking......DUKE is One and on the move.

Wow have we been busy the last couple weeks as we enter 2014!  Duke got to go to the Library for the first time, go sledding, play endlessly with all his toys, start eating more solids, paint in the tub, and the list goes on!
Duke is up to a lot these days as he won't stop walking and if you restrain him he is not a happy camper.  His favorite part of the day is mornings, along with the evenings when he gets to run around in his diaper chasing Jet around.  He now says, "Bad Dog".....I wonder why as Jet is always up in in his face trying to steal kiss.  Duke loves the word, "up" and continues to say "Jet" all the time.  A few other words will slip out here and there, "dad" is also a consistent one that goes right with "Jet".
Duke's favorite foods these days are Graham Crackers, hot dogs (he can put a whole one down in one sitting), bread, strawberries, peas, and the list could go on.  He also has more teeth to help chew all that food - molars are here!
Duke is pretty much deciding that he only wants to nap once a day - which is early but mom and dad are going with it.  At daycare he will only take a morning nap about once a week but loves his afternoon nap, weekends it is down to a short morning snuggle with books and then enjoying an afternoon nap. Hmmmm what else is Duke up to???  Why don't we take a look at his photos from all this fun the last couple weeks.

Our little helper, about time he carries out all his dirty diapers.  These days he is popping three times a day!!

Discovering the fan!  Love the wind in his hair.

Doing what he loves most.....reading.

He loves the dryer!  Loves to help mom close it and put clothes in and of course take them out.

Duke loves to go downstairs, the minute mom and dad ask if he wants to go down there is a big smile followed by some giggles!

Loves to play with the door stops non-stop.

Picking out his book for our bed time read.

Duke LOVES baths, the best part is watching the water come out of the whale.

Reaching....

Future college roommates like their dads.

We had such a fun play date with Landon!  They even got to share a bath, as they both love baths!

Our trip to the Library - we enjoyed dressing up as a firefighter.

Duke loved all the windows, they were his size!  He would wave at the cars going by.

It was full of so many toys!

All this space to RUN!

So many books to chose from, heaven for this boy.

Taking a ride on the fire truck.

Playing store with dad.

We loved all the food too!

Crazy hair after nap!

Hugs and kisses for Baby Sage these days.

Duke's foot!

Loves to show us how big he is.

Loves his belly as this last week we talked about bellies, this week we are talking about noses.

Boy hard at work.

Both boyz playing in the Train Tent.  They both love it.

Learning to comb his hair.

We had a dance party last Thursday night.  Duke loves to be spun and dipped - hoping he takes after mom's dance moves ;)

Like father like son - hear melter!

Mom, "What is under there?"

I love wheels and anything that spins.

Reading to mom on Saturday morning.

Painting in the tub!  We combined his favorites - paint and the bath.

Yes it got very messy!

Trying to figure out what is dad doing up there.

Something rare, mom and Duke both passed out on a Saturday night together - whoops!

Time to go sledding and enjoy the snow.

Took did not show too much emotion for the sled, and wasn't too happy when he found out he could not walk in the snow.  Was great to get outside and hoping he will enjoy a little more next time.

Walking back up the hill

Trying to go in the book this time.  One of his new favorite books.

Cuddles with dad.

Dad's lap is soooo fun.

Reading to Jet.

Watching dad shovel the snow for Jet.
