Clock, Sock, Shut, Book, Door, Car, and the list goes on for Duke's favorite words these last weeks.

Duke continues to shock us with his new words, gestures, and tricks each day.  Duke sure knows how to keep mom and dad on their toes with running from room to room and shutting the doors ;)  It is fun watching him discover and try to imitate what mom and dad do.  Yes when you take something away he will get upset and he knows what it means to push your buttons when you already said "no" they learn way too fast.  The best part is Duke loves to giggle and there are so many little things that get him going, you realize how you don't need much in life but a little laugh to make the day be perfect.  Take a look at our fun times the last couple weeks.
Looking for his balls.

Having fun in his fort and with his tools!

Cherishing some love after bath time.

The duck is still his favorite bath toy.

All Duke's V-Days gifts from the kids at Daycare.

Two new car seats for the big boy!

We went to Kohls and spent a little time on the bench waiting for dad.

We let Duke run through out the store - it was great watching him get lost in all the clothes racks!  He loved it and you could tell he had a sense of freedom!

Playing with the magnetic letters.

Watching for Jet outside.

Doing an art project.

Dad enjoying date night with mom at SkyZone.

One of his funny faces he now loves to make.

Loved watching dad plow the drive way.

Playing outside in the fresh snow!

Wrestle time with dad.

Attempting to put his socks on.

Duke now can climb on and off his Dog by himself and likes to try to ride it around.

Jet watching Duke color, making sure he stays inside the lines ;)

We love getting crazy in the basement.

Lost in all the snow.

Reading.

A perfect line up of all our boots.

Watching all the neighbors get stuck and dad helping them out with the big snow fall.

Mom was stuck at home due to the snow so we did some extra reading.

Mom working at home and Duke enjoying some coloring time.

You almost cannot see our house!

Saturday morning brought some time with the water table - Duke did not leave the floor dry!

Helping mom put the groceries away.

His favorite wagon - love pulling it around the house, it is very LOUD!

Duke does not like to let go of his milk.

Mom saw the side of Duke today and it reminder her so much of Dad, starting to look more like dad.

Wynter is Duke's Middle Name And Fits His First Full Winter To A T!!

It has been cold but we have kept busy as Duke runs, runs and runs all over.  Duke is starting to grasp using his own fork, but for most the time the food goes all over, but that is the best part of learning.....right?!?!?  More words keep coming from this boy - car, brush, shut, star, stop it, stinky, and you cannot forget that he loves to say Grandpa every morning it seems.  Duke is still reading books, but today loves to sit by himself and read them to himself but he will still never forget to bring them to you to read over and over - we now know his favorite books like the back of our hands but wouldn't change it - we love how he needs to sit on our leg in order to be ready for us to read the book.
Over the last couple weeks we had art projects for Valentines day, a trip to the Children's Museum, hoop time, plenty of baths, and the list goes on.
Looking out the window for dad to get home from work.

Having some fun, mom gets to test out the toys.

This time Duke is chasing mom.
