Sorry for the delay in post, we have been busy with Christmas, Duke's Birthday, the New Year, and soooo much more!
Whats new with Duke? He is officially the big 2!! He had a wonderful birthday filled with presents and family. Some big toys for him this year were a new trike, trains, legos, and flash cards. The boy loves flashcards and trains! He also loves this big ABC puzzle he got from Grandma Schmitt for Christmas along with a leaf blower but we are hiding that from him for now, shhhh :)
Duke weighs in at 28lbs and I forget his height, thinking it was around 32" but I will have to check that again......This mommy brain has really taken affect. He can drink from a cup all by himself, while mom and dad sit at the edge of his chair waiting for him to spill. He loves to put full sentences together which means it is a little harder to understand him. We call him Mr. Repeat as he will repeat anything you say. Duke still loves to run and jump all around the house couch or from anything he feels he can climb. He likes to "work" meaning help dad with any project around the house including putting his new train table together. Duke has also called his sister pretty but there are sometimes where he is a little jealous of her attention she brings, but who wouldn't ;)
Food he loves: Pickles, Cheetos, Hot Dogs, any Fruit, Peas & Corn, Peanut Butter Crackers, Ice Cream and Cake
He now loves to use ketchup and BBQ sauce when mom and dad do - loves to dip

OMG there are soooo many mom needs to start writing them down so she can keep track so stay tuned.
