Where does time go?!?! Duke is our little man growing into a big man.
Yes it has been a while for a update that is for sure! But with how active Duke is these days it is hard to stay up to date on anything :)
Duke is growing growing growing and with growing I would say with his words. He picks up on anything you say......swear words included! He also likes to pick out what he wears in the morning along with which PJ's he will be wearing to bed. He knows exactly what is in his closet and what is his favorites. Today he loves to wear his gold pants along with his dump truck shirt. Luckily he understand when something is dirty and he needs to go onto the next outfit for the day. With that being said he loves to go in the fridge and pick out what he will eat or drink for snack - we need to get a lock on it!
Today Duke is into "working" - meaning he loves to play with his life like house downstairs and pretend he is fixing the walls. He will always have a hammer in his hand and say. "mom I want to hammer!" He loves loves to fix the wheels on his wagon or he calls tailor - such a boy! He still loves to read, play with his computer, build with his legos, and always finds time to play in his kitchen as a cook or we have plenty of tea parties with his sister London.
Favorite foods for Duke - Hot dogs, chicken, peas, corn, any fruit he will gobble up, crackers and he loves ice cream and cookies. At night he loves to still be read to, he still has his favorite book from when he was little ( I did replace it once) along with always saying good night, sleep tight, don't let the bug beds bite.
We have started lots of sports that helps deflate some of his energy. We went to a soccer practice and have set up a net at home to play hockey and soccer. He loves it, along with mom & dad as it has brought back their sport days.
