Duke is 2 Weeks Old Today!!

Duke hit his two week mark today and mom & dad are still alive!!!  It has been an amazing two weeks for mom and dad as they have learned a lot about being parents and adapting to all the fast changes.
These are a few of mom & dad's favorites so far:
-You love to stretch your legs straight out when you feed - mom loves watching your feet
-You love to be so active after feeding with turning your head back and forth and grunting as you lift it because it is so much hard work
-Singing to you at night, hoping it helps your little eyes eyes close close close.....
-Bath time - you just love to get your dark hair washed
-Your loud farts ;) and poppy diapers - it has given mom and dad laughter as you have peed on them several times, even twice in one tag team diaper change
-Dressing you use to take about a half hour and now taking just ten minutes :)  you are a mover and a shaker
-Our first time putting you in your swing and scared that it moved too fast but really it was perfect
-How you love to have your hands free so you can stretch them, punch them and put them up in the air when you are sleeping - almost like you are waving at mom and dad.
-How you love when we take your mittens off so you can munch on your fingers/hands!

Here are some more photos of the growing Duke!
Jet is starting to love Duke!

I am so playful and alert!

Dad & Duke - Duke in his Viking's shirt

This last week Grandma and Grandpa got to spend lots of time with Duke.  Grandma helped out mom with cooking, cleaning, and give her an extra hand!  Grandpa likes to wake Duke up at any moment to play or to just cuddle with.

The precious growing little features of Duke

Duke loves to munch on his hands, he is a hand sucker just like mom was.  In the two upper pictures we couldn't get him to stop munching even on his arm.  These two amazing collage photos were take by my amazing friend Suzie Ziemke who did an amazing job catching Duke's personality and there will be more to come!
