Duke is 20 Weeks Old!

This week Duke hit a growth spurt!  He is standing taller, sitting longer by himself, talking more and EATING more!  Each day Duke is forming his personality and mom & dad love seeing it shine through his silly expressions, his giggles, and his voice he is showing them more of.
Mom & dad had it great for the last two month with Duke sleeping through the night but starting last Sunday he decided to wake up at about 3am to eat another 8-10oz!!  So far it is a trend so we will see how long it will go but mom & dad think it is part of a growth spurt along with some teeth coming in.  Duke enjoyed lots of time outside with daycare this week along with enjoying some evenings out on the deck.
It was a busy weekend for Duke.  Saturday he opened a new toy, had cards night with the boys while mom was out on the town for her first night with not coming home, and a graduation party Sunday with a visit from Grandma & Grandpa Schmitt.  Here are photos from the growing boys week!

Duke with his new toy!!  He won't be using it for another month for the standing part on his own but the legs come off so he can sit with it.  He loved it! It was new lights, sounds  and colors for him.

Duke is happy as long as something is in his month.  Duke has been a little more grumpy this week, a new side mom & dad have not seen but glad to see he has a voice.  He is starting to show us his growing personality.

Mom and your aunts out on the town to celebrate Anisa (your new aunt) joining the family!!  Wedding is coming and cannot wait.  Yes your aunts are crazy but you will always love them Duke, they are some special ladies.  Mom counts her blessing that she was fortunate to join the Weldon family as well almost 4 years ago.
