Duke is 26 Weeks Old!!

Wow I think Duke's weeks just keep getting busier and busier, good thing he is pretty chill and goes with the flow of Mom & Dad's busy schedule.  This weekend Duke got to see his Aunt Chelse and Uncle Scott, it was about three months ago they last saw each other in Arizona!!  They were all excited to play and get some cuddle time.  This weekend there was a lot going on!!  Mom and Duke headed to St. Cloud Friday afternoon while dad stayed in the cities for some softball, study time to take his license test on Monday and Dan & Ania's engagement party! 
Friday started with Uncle Chubby's 50th Birthday party where Duke got to see lots of family.  Saturday was time spent playing and in the evening Duke got to spend some extra time with Grandma and Grandpa Schmitt while mom enjoyed a wedding of a high school friend.  Sunday was a big day for Aunt Chelse, it was her baby shower so Duke flirted with all the ladies with flashing his big smile and giggling non-stop!
This week Duke has really started to gain more personality!  He likes to give mom High Fives!  We have started working on sign-language, and he fully knows his name is Duke.  Duke loves when you clap at him, and will flash a big smile with the sight of a clap.  Duke still loves to stand, his favorite thing to do is start on his back and get pulled up into sitting and then right up into standing.  You can watch him use his stomach muscles with a little grunt as he does the motion.  He also now knows to reach for mom's hands when he wants to sit and stand up.

Duke is 6 Month's Old!!!

Duke has survived his first 6 months!  Tomorrow Duke has his 6 month check up so the stats are yet to come on his weight, height, etc.  Stay tuned....

Duke has accomplished a lot in the last 6 months, and mom & dad don't know where the time has gone!  Duke already has some favorites such as looking at himself in the mirror - always gets him to smile, he loves his Peak A-Boo Forest Book, his stuffed giraffe, playing with his toes, his football is one of his new favorite toy.  When Duke gets tired he loves to chit chat to himself and roll around - so cute!  Here are Duke's 6 month photos along with some photos of milestones this week!

First night with out the sleep sack, just a blanket!  Also put the crib down to the lowest level because Duke is rolling around soooo much!  Jet is also becoming a little more protective over Duke as you can see he slept by him too.

Duke is 25 Weeks!!

This last Week continued to grow his own personality with high pitch screams, smiling, giggling while playing and getting tickled.  Duke's two bottom teeth are really coming in and the pics below will show :)  Duke loves to sit and play now while throwing toys all over.  He is an active boy with moving his arms and legs and always looking for the next thing to do!  Duke's favorite toy is his football, go figure :)  His favorite book is Peek- A- Boo Forest, it is soft and has pages that flip that just makes him smile!

Duke got to test out a water table, however mom turned it into a bath for bath time!  Duke loved it.
