Duke is 29 Weeks Old!!!

This week Duke got his first fever :(  Mom and dad discovered it Sunday night as he got fussy during his bath that night.  He normally loves bath and when he started shivering and becoming fussy they knew something was wrong.  He slept good through the night but still had a little temp in the morning.  Duke made it part way through day care but Patty called and said his temp was 102!!  Mom and dad decided to bring him in just to make sure everything was ok.  Duke was him same self....smiley, wanted to stand, play, etc but yet he had the temp.  The doctor said it was a viral virus and would just have to continue with Motrin to keep the temp down.  Duke did surpise mom with a big vomit at the doc's office all over her!!  She did have to go home and change prior to going back to work because it was soooo bad!!  But yet it kept mom and dad laughing :)
Duke also turned 7 Months this week!!  7 Months come with a little (or not so little) guy that loves to be naked and get tickled by his shoulders, loves the Itsy Bitsy Spider, is starting to learn how to crawl and loves to sleep with his butt in the air.

Duke is 7 Months Old!!!

Duke turned 7 Months today!!  Can you believe it ?!?!?  Mom and dad are still in shock :)  This evening will filled with a new swing from Grandpa and Grandma Schmitt to celebrate.  They actually gave the swing to Duke a while ago but with all our big tress in the back yard there was no where to hang it but lucky that Grandpa Schmitt is handy and got a alternative.  There was some many laughs shared tonight and as they all watched Duke role, stand, walk, ride his puppy, jump, drool, eat mushy peas, toot, talk, play, and cuddle.  So Thankful for the healthy boy we have been blessed with!

Duke is 28 Weeks Old!

Gosh thinking back Mom can't even remember this last week because we had so much going on!  She does remember that at Daycare the girls were combing Duke's hair to the side and calling him a prince when dad was picking him up :)  They sure love Duke and Duke sure loves them!
Oh yes Duke has started to move!!  He loves to go in circles on his tummy, almost an army crawl...the first thing he got was a big clump of mom's hair and was about to put it in his mouth but mom caught him - gross!!  He also just loves to roll over and over and over again!  When it is naked time before bed he will do tons of roll overs and just giggle!  This weekend was a fun filled family trip to Belle Plaine for his first BBQ days!  He got to see cousins, Grandma & Grandpa Weldon, friends, go on his first ride, swing, and plenty of wagon rides.  Here are photos from our fun week!!
