A Fun Filled 4th of July Celebration at The Cabin! Plus More & More!

This last week Duke had the opportunity to spend almost 5 full days at Grandma & Grandpa Schmitt's cabin with lots of family and fun in the sun!  Duke loved every moment outside and in the lake but the best part was seeing all the family and spending the extra quality time with Aunt Chelse & Scott who was visiting from Arizona.  Duke had many first through the week.....he now gives High Fives, Hugs. eating smoothed carrots and peas, swimming, standing on his own, and more teething!!!!
Yes we caught lots of photos to show you all that Duke was lucky to experience through out the week!  Yes it may be a lot of photos but it also melted Mom & Dad's hear to watch their boy be able to experience and be blessed with such great family and a cabin to grow up with just like mom did.

Loving the few of the sand and the water - down by the beach ready to swim!

In my new floaty!  Duke was a little unsure in the beginning but the 2nd time around his feet were kicking!

Grandpa Schmitt & his brother Dale watching Duke.

Mom & Duke playing Jenga.

Aunt Chelse & Uncle Scott with Duke at the beach.

The big group on the 4th of July, having a big Jenga tournament!  Over 40 people picked a piece and didn't fall until that last person went.

Having fun watching the big game.

Enjoying some dinner outside, yummy Carrots.

We were back home after the long weekend and Dad put Duke back in the box - he loved it again and you can see he can stand with the support by himself.

Cooling off on Sunday after a very hot day - having fun in the pool.  He wasn't too sure about all the water down his face!

Loves to reach for baseball hats - sign of a future baseball player!
