Duke is 39 Weeks Old!

Duke had an unique week with three different baby sitting him!!  He got Grandpa Schmitt, Grandma Weldon and then Patty - his daycare provider.  It was a great week to mix things up, for Duke to get off a normal schedule and see new faces!  He loved his long walks with Grandpa Schmitt, along with some extra cuddle time on the rocking chair and some swing time with Grandma Weldon.  The funniest part is they were so busy with Duke they both forgot to give him his snack at 3pm!!  Oh well, Duke still manage to have fun along with them - lets hope!  Duke also is getting very independent with standing, he even took two steps towards mom by himself.  Another milestone, Duke said Mom!!  Yes this is what mom was waiting for the last 9 and 1/2 month :)
Duke also got to go to a wedding this weekend, and attend cousin Carter's 2nd birthday!  Lots of fun times.  But the best party was Duke got to go swimming in a pool of Cheerios on Saturday morning, take a look at the photos to see all the fun!
Carter about to dive into his cake.

Loving the new toys!! Cousin Gabby climbing to the top!

All 3 trying to figure out the blocks.

Sharing the table.

Having fun with Aunt Liz, who can get the best giggles out of Duke.

Duke has had some amazing times with Grandpa, and super thank full!

Grandma and Grandpa Weldon getting Duke ready for the swing!

Wrestle time with Dad

Our happy boy enjoying any where he can stand, the fridge, dishwasher, cabinet, and doors.

Duke loves to play with the door stops, wow does it annoy mom & dad.

A happy boy after mom & dad had their first panic attach after seeing blood.  Yes Duke took a fall and bite his lip pretty hard along with his teeth so blood was coming and they were freaking out.  Doc Liz came to the rescue and in no time this boy was laughing, dancing, and talking again.

Our fun morning with cheerios and a little water!  When its chilly outside we brought some fun inside.  Filled the pool with one box of Cheerios and a little bucket of water to go diving for cheerios.

Duke and mom ready for wedding number 3 in 4 weeks!

Duke did not last long during the service and by the look on his face he was up to some sort of trouble.

I love straps and can find them any where!

Mom's favorite photo!

Sunday was a chilly morning so we put on some new shoes and a hat to keep warm.

Grrrrr I am tiger!

As you can see Dad still loves to read Duke books before bed!  One photo from the past and the other from Sunday night.

Which one?  The balloon or the toy???  The hard questions for a 9 month old :)
