"I Love You"

Wow has it been way to long for an update from Duke!!  Mom needed to get a post in as Duke said, "I love You!" tonight for the first time.  We have been working on several other words but Mom was really making sure Duke was starting to understand that phrase the last week and finally he says it over and over!
So to move one, yest we have not update you on Duke since Easter!!  We had a great, warm, fun Easter eating lots of food, doing an Easter Egg hunt, coloring eggs and seeing family! We also did our first family 5k run - even dad made it the whole way.  We have been so busy that gosh what else has gone on?!?!  Why don't you take  a look at our photos below to get caught up.

Duke loves the slide, especially that we found one he can do all by himself!

I love to talk to myself in the mirror.

We still fit in reading time.

Trying to get his shoes on so we can go for a walk.

Duke's art projects from daycare - bunny ears and coloring project.

Coloring eggs for Easter!

Duke's Easter Art project.

Duke also loves to go down the slide head first.

I love to find my belly button.

Coloring eggs!  Sorry they are out of order.

Easter Bunny came!

He loves his lawn mower

Easter breakfast - pancakes in shape of a bunny

Duke's first metro ride!  He did great and loved the train ride.

Yes Duke does know how to sag his pants.

Precious photo of these two cuddling.

Duke always knows where to climb in when we are doing dishes.  He grabs his favorite book and blanket and starts to read.

This Saturday Duke was Dad's helper with cleaning!

The vases for the Grandma's on Mother's Day minus the flowers.

Loving some warm weather.

We met some new ladies at the park - Jet and Duke hit it off with them all!

Planting flowers with Grandma for mom and Grandmas annual tradition of planting over Mother's Day weekend.  Duke loved to pretend to plant and loved to spray the water.

Watching Baby W#2 getting bigger!

A fun Sunday with the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Weldon.  It is very hard to get us all in a picture these days as they are all on the move!

These two will be trouble as they grow together!  Cousin Gabby and Duke.
